Cathy Dodd, Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Dodd was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Formerra in November 2022 following the sale of Avient Distribution (now Formerra) to H.I.G Capital. She joined Avient Distribution in 2014 and served as President of Distribution from October 2020 to November 2022. She held various positions at Avient, including Senior Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer, and Vice President of Marketing. Ms. Dodd has experience in the chemical manufacturing industry and has served in several leadership roles at Eastman, Honeywell, and Ashland Oil. She earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing and business management from the University of Kentucky.
Craig Yuen, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Yuen was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Formerra in January 2023. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Vantage Specialty Chemicals, Inc. from June 2015 to December 2022. In addition to his experience at Vantage in chemical manufacturing, Mr. Yuen has worked in manufacturing across several industries with private equity owned and publicly owned companies. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago.
Mike Lane, Chief Strategy Officer
Mr. Lane was appointed Chief Strategy Officer of Formerra in November 2022 following the sale of Avient Distribution (now Formerra) to H.I.G Capital. He joined Avient Distribution in 2009 and served in various leadership roles, the most recent being General Manager of Distribution from March 2019 to October 2022. Mr. Lane received his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Notre Dame and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.
Nicole Rosciano, Chief Human Resources Officer
Ms. Rosciano was appointed Chief Human Resources Officer of Formerra in March 2023. She served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Hilco Global from 2019 to 2021 and in various leadership roles at Circana (formerly IRI) from 2008 to 2019. Ms. Rosciano received her bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology and her master’s degree in human resources from Loyola University of Chicago.
Julie Manley, Vice President, Marketing & Channel
Ms. Manley was appointed Vice President of Marketing and Channel of Formerra in November 2022 following the sale of Avient Distribution (now Formerra) to H.I.G Capital. She joined Avient Distribution in 1999 and served in various leadership roles, the most recent being General Manager of Distribution from March 2019 to October 2022. Ms. Manley has experience in the chemical manufacturing industry, with previous positions at resin producers Amoco and GE. She earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from the University of Cincinnati.
Doug Zupan, Vice President, Operations
Mr. Zupan was appointed Vice President of Operations of Formerra in November 2022 following the sale of Avient Distribution (now Formerra) to H.I.G Capital. He joined Avient Distribution in 2009 and served in various leadership roles, the most recent being Director of Supply. Mr. Zupan’s prior experience includes roles with Chrysler, Ford and Abbott Laboratories. He received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Ohio State University, his master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Oakland University, and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.
Robert Zusy, Vice President, Sales
Mr. Zusy was appointed Vice President of Sales of Formerra in November 2022 following the sale of Avient Distribution (now Formerra) to H.I.G Capital. He joined Avient Distribution in 1994 and served in various leadership roles, the most recent being General Manager of Distribution from March 2015 to October 2022. Mr. Zusy earned his bachelor’s degree in international business from Washington State University.
